The owner is awesome. He is super nice and makes some great milkshakes, their huge and so good! He is very efficient each time I have been here he has been an excellent server.

Amazing customer service will definitely go back soon, they even have some games for kids very family oriented.

Really cool 50's flashback diner. Food was excellant and prices very reasonable. Very family friendly. Amazing icecream too. The staff was so cool, and very prompt too. If your looking for a good old fashioned hamburger then this is the place to be.

This diner had the best chowder I've ever had! Lots of clams and not jam packed with mainly potatoes like most chowders. The chips and salsa was good once they replaced the first batch of stale chips. My daughter also loved the clam chowder!

My family and I stopped in during spring break to try it out. Boy are we glad we did food is amazing friendly staff and a great atmosphere. ( They are having a hard time getting staff atm so be prepared for a wait ) But it is very worth it the taste and flavor of the food is amazing. We had to eat here more then once during our vacation !!! Be sure to stop by and give them a try

Never had pizza fries prior to this trip. They were great! Actually tasted like pizza. Worth the trip!!

Just the burgers we were looking for. Amazing beef patties, delicious food and great friendly service. Finished up with a hand scooped ice cream come. I recommend the huckleberry cheesecake ice cream. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Newport.

Don’t go here if you’re concerned about Covid 19. They don’t wear masks and there is little protection for customers. Won’t be a big loss if you don’t because the food is middle of the road and greasy.

Kind of a bummer! The sign had a note taped to it - only 1 server and 1 cook. The staff are verbal was very friendly and the milkshakes, like others have said, were generous and delicious. My burger along with several others was cooked several minutes past extra well done, so hard to recommend unless just for the fries and shakes. Hopefully will be better next time, enough potential to give it 1 more shot!

Flashbacks took me back to my childhood, love the decor the floor and the music was awesome. We made a stop solely on playing some video games however fries and burger were awesome staff was very friendly, or a or boy the milkshakes and malts looked so good.

Tried to order to go last weekend and the person who answered the phone was so very, very rude. They didn't have all of their regular menu items (understandable) but you don't get curt with the customer when they are asking what sides you do have. We decided not to order after all. The interaction was so terrible we will not be back and will advised our family and friends not to stop either. I understand times are rough right ow, but that is not as excuses for poor service.

Friendly staff, owner operation for 17yrs, first time here. The menu is well defined wth many choices. We ordered the classic burger and chili burger. Kail and the Owner were very helpful with fast service. The food was exceptional. Will be back again especially for the deserts.

My family and I are on vacation this week from Eastern Oregon and we were looking for a good burger so we decided to try Flashbacks and we were extremely pleased! The lady I spoke with on the phone was cordial, my husband went inside to retrieve the food and said they were curteous. More than that the food was GREAT. The burgers were juicy and the waffle fries were awesome. Definitly worth trying. We will be back!!

This place is spectacular, vintage style diner with amazing food and great service. I make it a point to eat here everytime I've been around Newport. In fact I've driven 46 minutes just eat here. Family owned and operated. You've gotta eat here! I gave it 5 stars because I couldn't give a 6th....
